OUR HISTORY

Stimergy's story starts in 2013 with its founder and president Christophe Perron, after a simple statement :

  • first, we have an increasing heat source produced
by datacenters that has to be absorbed by energy-consuming cooling
  • second, we have a need for heat all year long, especially for residential buildings' hot sanitary water or swimming pools

And so was born the idea of the digital boiler : finding the meeting point of these 2 statements to create an eco-friendly energy solution.

As for Stimergy, the name comes from "stigmergy", which is a "consensus social network mechanism of indirect coordination, through the environment, between agents or actions. The principle is that the trace left in the environment by an action stimulates the performance of a next action, by the same or a different agent. In that way, subsequent actions tend to reinforce and build on each other, leading to the spontaneous emergence of coherent, apparently systematic activity" (by Wikipedia).

Since then, the story has been going on well : our team is growing at a steady pace, and many digital boilers are already in use in France as well as many others in construction.

TODAY

Today, Stimergy has offices in Grenoble and Paris in order to be the closest to our clients.

The company speeds up its development in France before going international. In an urban environment, Stimergy works with housing buildings of at least 20 apartments, or buildings that welcome the public, like swimming pools, hotels...

Stimergy finds an echo in smart cities, where the territory's stakeholders and the companies embrace an innovative and voluntarist approach to change their ways of consuming and recycling energy while having a high requirement level about the computing power they need for their growth.
